Tap Master Jr F2 Water Filter Review

Do Away with Expensive Bottled Water!

Like most of you reading this review, I can’t remember when bottled water first hit the market. I have a vague idea that it might have started in France as a stylish way to drink something healthy with a few bubbles in it. However don’t quote me on that!
When I do my weekly shop at the local grocery store, adding a pack of bottled water is part of what I call my “basics” list, but just recently I realized how much money I was spending just on water.

The question “do I really have to do this?” came to mind, followed by a very foolish idea that I would try a glass of water straight from the tap at home (I hear the gasps of horror from here!) Thankfully it was just one sip and that was enough for me, but I was still pretty annoyed that I have running water yet I can’t drink it because it tastes so bad.

Like most people, I turned to the internet for some advice (just like you are now), and came across the Tap Master Jr F2 Counter Top Water Filtration System. This was a revelation to me, and that’s why you have the benefit of this review today. Imagine being able to hook something up to your faucet, turn it on and “voila” (as they say in France), you have a perfectly drinkable glass of water.

So, what’s so special about this little gadget – let me tell you!

Convenient and Easy to Use

This particular model of water softener sits conveniently on your countertop, and has an extra long faucet which is made from heavy duty chrome, and the unit itself is white so it will fit into most kitchen decors. Unlike many other models of water softener and filtrations systems, a child could install this one (although I don’t recommend it). What I’m trying to say is it won’t give you any trouble at all, and within minutes you’ll be able to direct the water from your faucet to this filtration system.

Benefits of this Model

You may have noticed that I mention both of the phrases “water softener” and “filtration system”. This is because the two go hand in hand with this unit. When you run water through it, before it reaches the glass you will benefit from some of the latest technology in chemical filtration.

Instead of a granular type filter this one has channel blockers which make sure that filtration is even, giving you the best quality water possible. It will remove over 93% of arsenic (yes arsenic), fluoride and selenium. Plus, it will remove over 98% of TOC’s and VOC’s as well as chlorine so the end result is a clear glass of water with no nasty after taste or foul smelling odors. Plus, when you have water that’s free of all these additives, it’s much softer.

Points to Consider

What you should remember is this unit will not deal with all of the water you use in your home. It’s designed to work from one faucet only. You will also need to replace the filter when you have passed about 500 gallons of water through it, or 3 months has gone by (whichever comes first).

Overall

If, like me, you’re looking for a reasonably priced water softener that will eliminate the need for you to buy bottled water again, I think this unit is the answer. If you’re concerned about price, why not take a peek at the offers Amazon currently have. The last time I looked you could really save some money!
